Xanthe Golenko Adjunct Research Fellow Dr Xanthe Golenko is an Adjunct Research Fellow with Griffith University, Griffith Business School. She is the current Chair of the Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG) Qld Division, Board Member and Secretary of the Australian Institute of Intergenerational Practice (AIIP), and has been on multiple Advisory Boards. Her background is in organisational behaviour, health services management and health workforce education. Xanthe’s key areas of interest include storytelling, creative arts and intergenerational programs. She has expertise in codesign, implementation, and complexity aware evaluation, and qualitative and mixed methods research. Xanthe is passionate about developing innovative service delivery approaches and creative programs designed to improve the social and emotional wellbeing of older adults. In 2020, she established a storytelling program within Bolton Clarke titled Storytelling in Health and Aged Care, Research and Education (SHARE), which encompasses multiple projects and types of storytelling including life story books, posters, story circles and intergenerational digital storytelling. She collaborates with a local and international network of academics, educators and storytelling practitioners to increase awareness and establish a robust evidence base to support this transformational work. |
