Jane Hwang Division Committee Member Is a research fellow in the Justice Health Research Program at the School of Population Health, UNSW Sydney with an Emerging Leadership fellowship with the NHMRC to respond to the effects of ageing in Australia’s justice system. Jane has expertise in ageing well in marginalised populations, and more broadly in social determinants of health and health equity. She has a broad range of mixed-methods research experience on a range of projects including: developing digital tools to measure frailty and cognition in people with low literacy, priority setting exercises with multi-sector stakeholders, and designing longitudinal health studies. She is an associate investigator with the UNSW Ageing Futures Institute and an associate of the Australian Human Rights Institute. She has been actively involved in the AAG NSW Division since 2016. |
