Dr Hien Thi Nguyen is Research Fellow at the Research Program on Migration, Diversity and Care, School of Arts and Humanities, ECU. She has over 18 years of experience working as a social researcher and development practitioner in Vietnam, Australia, and Indo-Pacific. Her scholarship includes migration, ageing, diversity, gender and development. Her current research questions focus on transnational grandparent migration and social care solutions, with a particular focus on successful ageing, social frailty prevention and reduction among CaLD communities.
